Ubisoft is making one of its biggest games free right now, so grab it!

After Assassin's Creed Shadows and while we wait for the colossal Rainbow Six Siege X overhaul coming on June 10, 2025, another major Ubisoft franchise is currently taking center stage. After six years of loyal service, its latest installment has just received a highly anticipated DLC, which was delayed earlier this year. To mark the occasion, the French giant is offering a free trial starting today, but for a fairly limited time. Let's take a closer look, agents.

Special free trial operation for a big Ubisoft game

Ubisoft often offers players free trials of some of its big games, especially Rainbow Six Siege. This time, however, the French giant is focusing on another title in its vast Tom Clancy game franchise. This time, it's a free trial period for The Division 2, which celebrated its sixth anniversary a few months ago.

As a reminder, it's a third-person shooter, with hints of MMO. Players embody Agents with different specializations, who must complete various missions in a post-apocalyptic United States. Each mission allows you to upgrade your equipment with outfits and weapons of a given rarity. Yesterday, Ubisoft released Battle for Brooklyn, a brand new paid DLC that takes us back to New York, the playground of the original The Division. On the program, between 6 and 10 hours of gameplay, with new mechanics and new loot.

To mark the occasion, Ubisoft is offering a full version of The Division 2, including its DLC, to be tested from today until June 2. This offer is available on PC, PS4 and PS5 (provided you are a PS Plus subscriber), Xbox One and Xbox Series (provided you are a Game Pass subscriber). To try the full version of The Division 2 for free, go to the official Ubisoft website and select your platform. Please note that, at the end of this free trial, your progress will be saved if you wish to continue the adventure, with significant discounts upon purchase: 3 euros instead of 29.99 euros for the Standard edition, 24 euros instead of 59.99 euros for the Gold edition and 34.99 euros instead of 69.99 euros for the Ultimate edition.
