Windows 11 will force you to use this feature that many hate, you won't have a choice

AI is creeping into Windows 11 everywhere. Microsoft is doing everything it can to integrate it into every segment. Settings, File Explorer, Photos… Copilot will be making its way into the operating system everywhere. Enough to annoy users allergic to this technology, but don't panic, the use promises to be as discreet as it is useful.

Microsoft is banking heavily on AI, as we know, but its use is still fairly marginal. The Redmond firm intends to shift into second gear with new announcements. The goal? To include its Copilot AI everywhere in Windows 11, to the point of making it mandatory. The good news is that this integration will be natural.

Among the upcoming new features, Microsoft mentions the integration of Copilot into the settings. This way, there's no need to search for a specific submenu. The example given by Microsoft is simple: in the settings, you type "my text is too small" and the settings automatically suggest enlarging it. Smart.

Several AI tools are coming to Windows 11

Other uses were also presented,such as the perfect capture tool. When taking a screenshot of a visual on the internet, it can happen that we go over a little. The AI will correct this problem. What's more, the AI included in Photos will allow you to modify the brightness automatically. If a photo is too dark, Copilot will make it more readable.

Clic to Do will also welcome several improvements. Users will be able to use Copilot to quickly edit text, an image, or read it aloud. The file explorer will also allow Copilot to be used, without further details. Could AI allow us to find something specific by asking it a simple question? Possible.

In any case, Microsoft is banking heavily on AI in the future. These improvements will soon be arriving in Windows 11, and using them will be almost mandatory. We can applaud the fact that this integration seems natural, and for the moment, it's dedicated to Copilot + certified PCs (with a powerful NPU). Insiders will obviously be served first.

The question of Windows 12 may also arise. Windows 11 is entering its fifth year of existence, and it's now time to consider what's next. It's more than likely that the next iteration will be entirely centered around Copilot and that these announcements are just a trial run before entering the all-AI era.
