Are you waiting for Little Nightmares 3? Here's the date you can't miss

While many players were hoping to hear from him at the Summer Game Fest, we ultimately emerged from this period of conferences without any information whatsoever regarding Little Nightmares 3. Inevitably, this did not fail to raise some questions, especially given that the Supermassive Games title is expected this year. But more fear than harm in the end, because it will actually have the luxury of a dedicated communication time very soon.

Little Nightmares 3 will soon be shown again

Indeed, Bandai Namco has just confirmed that Little Nightmares 3 will be shown in more detail during a Little Nightmares Showcase organized next week, on June 24 at 9 p.m. (French time) to be precise. And while the publisher hasn't been keen to specify the exact content of the conference, we should at least be treated to a new trailer, probably accompanied by some gameplay footage and, hopefully, a new release date. Because, let's remember, this third installment was initially expected for 2024 before being postponed.

Moreover, reading between the lines, it could be that the release of Little Nightmares 3 is actually much closer than we imagine. In any case, this is what the text accompanying the conference announcement could suggest, which then reads: "Something worrying is brewing. It's closer than you think. Are you ready to face it, little ones?". Can we expect a release of Little Nightmares 3 during the summer, or at least as early as the start of the school year? At this stage, nothing is impossible. Although this is, of course, just speculation on our part.

Other surprises on the agenda?

Another interesting element to take away from this announcement: Bandai Namco is indeed talking about a Little Nightmares Showcase, and not a Little Nightmares 3 Showcase. Could it be, then, that other announcements are on the agenda? Again, this seems more than likely. This could mean the official release of Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, the PS5 and Xbox Series version of the first game, which was filed with the ESRB in 2023 but has yet to be released. We'll hear the answer in a few days.
