Assassin's Creed Shadows: Here's when the next update will be available, there will be a surprise

The new representative of its license, Assassin's Creed Shadows, made a great debut on the market last March. Having benefited from its delays, Ubisoft's new baby has been offered in a more polished version than some of the publisher's other recent games. However, it continues to be refined. A new update is approaching and its content continues to be revealed!

A newcomer in Assassin's Creed Shadows

The roadmap for Assassin's Creed Shadows still promises great things to come for the game. Ubisoft's teams are working hard to offer engaging content for players over time. That's why a new update is about to be deployed. It will obviously bring fixes, but also additional content such as a free quest, but only that.

A well-known voice from the Dungeons & Dragons scene will be making his way into the game! It's now official: comedian Robbie Daymond (Marvel's Spider-Man, Doom The Dark Ages) is joining the cast of Assassin's Creed Shadows. The news is all the more surprising since it's a character he created himself that's joining the game.

Indeed, it's a character he played for the Twitch show Critical Role as part of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign that's joining Assassin's Creed Shadows. It's a man named Rufino who will act as an ally for Naoe and Yasuke. And it's precisely thanks to this new free quest that you'll be able to meet him!

One last detail remained pending about this new update: the date! In fact, Ubisoft had simply indicated that it would arrive in June. Well, it's Daymond himself who gives it to us. In a video shared on the official social networks of the license, he begins by introducing himself before giving us an appointment on June 25, 2025 in Assassin's Creed Shadows. You'll be able to meet him in less than a week, and without paying anything!
