Google hasn't confirmed anything yet, but the rumor of a Pixel 10 presentation on August 13th is holding water... because last year, the Pixel 9 was also presented on August 13th! The rumor from Android Headlines specifies that pre-orders will begin on the same day, with deliveries starting on August 20th.
A busy summer for Google
The search engine is expected to unveil four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. In terms of design, Google would keep the shapes we know from the Pixel 9; There would still be some minor changes, such as the speaker and microphone openings being the same size on either side of the USB-C port — at least on the Pixel 10 Pro, as shown in this Chinese prototype leak relayed by Mystic Leaks.
The SIM card door would be repositioned at the top on the left edge, in place of the antenna opening on the Pixel 9. More importantly, the leak also gives us a glimpse of the Tensor G5, the chip under the hood. It would feature a complex configuration of 2 Cortex-A520 cores, 3 + 2 Cortex-A725 cores, and 1 Cortex-X4. The modem is advertised as a g5400i, probably an Exynos (Samsung) model rather than MediaTek.
Google is preparing for the big day no matter what. The company has invited several lucky "Superfans" and resellers to admire the upcoming models up close at an event to be held on June 27 in London.
