Since its arrival on Nintendo Switch 2, Cyberpunk 2077 has made a remarkable comeback in the news. It must be said that, just like what happened when it was released in 2020, CD Projekt RED's latest game has certainly stirred up passions. While some say they're impressed and satisfied by the game's port to Nintendo's new console, others, on the contrary, are rather disappointed with the result. On the other hand, one thing is certain: everyone is eager to discover what the studio has in store for us with its next update.
A new patch imminent for Cyberpunk 2077
Decidedly resourceful, the studio currently working on The Witcher 4 has recently confirmed that a new major update, 2.3, is on the way for Cyberpunk 2077. This will therefore arrive almost two years after the release of Phantom Liberty, and a few months after the release of version 2.2, which was then supposed to mark the end of the game's support. But at CD Projekt, when there is no more, there is still more. And the big moment is now imminent, since Cyberpunk 2077 will enter its version 2.3 on June 26th.
Unfortunately, two weeks after confirming the information, the studio continues to remain silent about what this new surprise update will have in store for us. However, it is rumored that new story quests could be included, just to give you good reasons to restart Cyberpunk 2077. We can also probably expect the arrival of new equipment and other customization elements, although this obviously remains to be confirmed.
More information to come
In any case, one thing is certain: we shouldn't wait too long to find out what this new content will be, since CD Projekt promised on June 5th that more information would be revealed by the end of the month. With only a few days to go before the launch of patch 2.3, there is no doubt that a new communication period is approaching for Cyberpunk 2077, just to prepare fans for what awaits them. Will it be a simple press release, a video, or even a stream? We don't know. But we can't wait to find out what it's all about.
