A lunch at an astronomical price

On X, internet user @jrockandrollt shared a photo of his restaurant bill at Disneyland, and the amount is simply mind-boggling. This family of five came to lunch at one of the theme park's establishments, where the bill turned out to be steeper than expected. The "Princess Breakfast" turned out to be very expensive, with a total cost of almost $1,000!

The father explains that he "almost spit out my coffee" when he saw his bill, before adding in the comments

I think if someone went to Disneyland and insisted on doing everything right, they could easily spend $3,000 a day.

I'll settle for a burrito of gas station and a sugar-free Red Bull, and I'll keep the rest... $930.

Divided Internet Users

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is located in Disney's Grand Californian Resort, one of the hotels in the Disneyland Resort in California. The three-course lunch is enhanced with princess activities, such as story time with Belle. All for the "modest" sum of $142, including for children ages 3 to 9. Viewed more than 16.7 million times at the time of writing, and liked 159,000 times, the post has generated numerous reactions on X from outraged internet users:

This is why my daughter continues to believe Disney is closed for COVID

This is why my daughter still thinks Disneyland is closed because of COVID.

Please Tell me you have 35 children.

Others also pointed out that the menu price is clearly displayed on the website and that it shouldn't be a surprise to consumers, but also that if he paid a $150 tip, he's well-off enough not to be surprised by the amount of his bill.

Bro they tell you the price when you book, if you're surprised that's on you

— Tweet is the Work (@NoblestCalling) June 17, 2025

Dude, they tell you the price when you reserve, if you're surprised it's your fault.

Listen... if you WILLINGLY tip $150, you're too financially well-off to bitch about the total cost of the meal. https://t.co/CNuyOGClUt

— Cyclone Joel (@JR3_Cyco) June 17, 2025

Look... if you VOLUNTARILY tip $150, you're too rich to complain about the total cost of the meal.

Despite everything, the father explains that he and his family enjoyed their time at Disneyland and that he has no regrets.

It was fun, the food was probably 7/10, the service was attentive and enthusiastic, the princesses were all trained professional actresses and spent a lot of time with the kids. I enjoyed it

This isn't the first time that a Disneyland restaurant has been at the heart of a controversy, such as the tragic death of this doctor due to allergens...
