F1: a trailer with haptic feedback specially designed by Apple and its iPhones

June will be a real event for Formula 1 fans. And no, we're not talking about the Canadian Grand Prix, which will take place this weekend, but rather the release of the official F1 film in theaters on June 25. Starring Brad Pitt as an old driver who returns to action, produced and directed by the producers of Top Gun: Maverick, with production support from seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who was also a consultant, the film promises to be a great spectacle. Today, Apple (the distribution rights holder) is offering us the chance to discover the new trailer for the film with haptic feedback effects, exclusively for iPhones. aria-describedby="caption-attachment-50553616" class="wp-caption aligncenter">

Apple is starting to ramp up its communication around the official F1 film, which will be released on June 25 in France (and June 27 in the USA). The Apple company promises "a unique experience of the power of the engines, the rumble of the pavements and the intensity of each gear change, with reactive vibrations". To do this, it has developed an exclusive trailer for iPhone owners with haptic feedback. This trailer uses the smartphone's Taptic Engine to allow users to "feel the action" in the palm of their hand. To experience the show, simply go to Appel's website, right here, via an iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update or later.

Apple has high hopes for the success of the film, produced by the director of Top Gun: Maverick, with Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack, Brad Pitt and Damson Idris starring as the two drivers of the Apex team that will be at the center of the film's story. The production will allow us to discover the story of this team, on the verge of bankruptcy, which calls on Sonny Hayes, a former F1 prodigy who decides to return to competition to save the team and prove that he is still the best driver in the world.
