It's the small success that we certainly weren't expecting this year, and yet! Fantasy Life i The Time Thief has been a surprise on PC and consoles since its release on May 21st. With a fresh formula that takes the basics of the previous opus while following in the footsteps of a certain Animal Crossing, the LEVEL-5 title has won over the public. That's an understatement since it's passing an important symbolic milestone and is celebrating this with a big announcement.
Fantasy Life i celebrates its success with a great announcement
In less than a month, the ambitious Fantasy Life i The Time Thief has attracted the public. So, on June 19th, the LEVEL-5 studio announced that its new game had sold more than a million copies! That's why it decided to celebrate the good news with its entire community by offering free content that should be very popular.
First, the big news is simply the arrival of a free DLC entitled "Update the World." The press release explained that it will offer an "evolved version of Giganterrarium." Among the big new features it will include, there will be a "new character playing a pivotal role" and, above all, a roguelike game mode never before seen for Fantasy Life i. The deployment date has not yet been announced, but the studio says it is actively working on it.
Free gifts to celebrate the million mark!
To help you wait, LEVEL-5 is also giving you some nice gifts for Fantasy Life i! If your game is up to date, there is already one waiting for you in the "Careers & Paladins Guild" chest. It's a very classy Pegasus mount for roaming around open areas. Note, however, that you must have progressed sufficiently in Chapter 2 of the main story to unlock the mount feature.
