Freebuds 6: The new earbuds are already at a discounted price, hurry!

The official website of the Chinese brand Huawei is currently offering promo codes to lower the prices of many products. So, with the code A10PRIVILEGE, you get 10% off a wide selection of products.

But the offer that particularly interests us concerns the brand's brand new pair of earphones: the Freebuds 6. Released last month, this new model has many assets to highlight, such as its very distinctive look, its sound experience, and its battery life.

And the good news is that the Freebuds 6 are currently benefiting from several cumulative offers. The first concerns the price. Released at the recommended retail price of €159.99, the Freebuds 6 have already seen their price drop thanks to the promo code A20FB6, which allows you to get a €20 discount. The price thus drops to only €139.99. And that's not all, because in addition to this reduced price, you have 12 months of HUAWEI Loss Care which allows you to benefit from a 50% discount on the purchase of a replacement earphone for one year.

Huawei Freebuds 6: an excellent sound experience at a low price

This spring, Huawei expanded its audio range with the new FreeBuds 6. The drop-shaped design of the FreeBuds 5 has been retained, but the earphones are slightly lighter without losing any battery life.

By optimizing the electronics, Huawei has even managed to improve the listening time, which increases to 6 hours of use without noise reduction (compared to 5 hours previously) and 4.5 hours with (compared to 3.5 hours). The case also loses a few grams but benefits from increased battery life, allowing for a total of 36 hours without ANC and 27 hours with, compared to 30 hours and 20 hours respectively on the FreeBuds 5.

The main advance is in the acoustics. This model adopts a dual-transducer configuration. A dynamic speaker with four magnets handles the bass frequencies, while a planar micro-diaphragm is dedicated to the treble. The result: an extended frequency response range, from 14 Hz to 48 kHz, compared to 16 Hz to 40 kHz on the previous generation.

The emphasis is on sound fidelity, with more detailed rendering in the high frequencies and better depth in the low-mids. In terms of codecs, LDAC is still present, alongside AAC and SBC. We still find the Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

The FreeBuds 5 are also IP54 certified, guaranteeing resistance to dust and water splashes. It is therefore an ideal model for outdoor sports activities, even in the rain.
