And those from this Summer Game Fest 2025 give hope for a thunderous announcement during the Xbox Showcase.
Hollow Knight Silksong ready to make an announcement at the Xbox Showcase?
"You tell us that every time," you might say, and you're not wrong. Sometimes the gaming community sees clues where there aren't any, but as a great poet once said, a game "isn't that a lot there?" The SteamDB website has indeed reported in recent days that there have been no fewer than four updates to the game's files on Steam. Four, compared to the usual one, is enough to give hope for a very soon release. It should be noted that according to information from NateTheHate, who is often very accurate, Hollow Knight Silksong should be released by the end of the summer, so very soon. These statements now seem to be corroborated by the German version of Google's Play Store. The game's official page has also been updated, to change its release date to "very soon".
Between the untimely updates to the game's file and that, it didn't take much for some to already dream of a surprise release during the Xbox Showcase which will take place tonight at 7:00 p.m. It sounds like a fantasy on paper, but it's not entirely impossible. Microsoft knows how to create surprises, but if it doesn't launch tonight, the acclaimed metroidvania should make an appearance and reveal its release date, which now seems imminent.
