In exactly one month, Kaiju No. 8 is set to release its second anime season. Production I.G, the animation studio behind Haikyū!!, Vinland Saga, and Pokémon: Origins, is back. After a first season aired between April and June 2024, the anime adaptation of Kaiju No. 8 will return for a second season on July 19. The anime has continued to build hype over the months, recently revealing new, never-before-seen footage. This is an opportunity for fans to get a new glimpse of Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, and the rest of the Anti-Kaiju Defense Force.
Despite a first season last year, this second season arrives only a year later. The wait wasn't too long, a blessing considering the problems encountered by other anime. And as mentioned above, it's through a new trailer that Kaiju No. 8 shares never-before-seen footage of its second season.
