If you're here, you've probably tried to start a game of League of Legends and everything went haywire, right? And yes, the most famous MOBA on the planet is currently experiencing a serious crash, and it seems pretty serious, since everyone (or almost everyone) has been kicked off the servers and everything is currently dead.
League of Legends victim of a huge outage
A black screen at launch and a completely empty home screen? Don't panic, your League of Legends account hasn't been hacked, and it's not your PC's fault either. According to Downdetector, a huge outage is currently hitting the LoL servers, and it's no joke. At the time of writing, nearly 2,000 reports have been posted on the site. Riot Games is, however, visibly silent, nothing on social networks or even on its website for the moment, and yet on the players' side, things are happening. On forums and social media, hundreds of people claim to have been kicked out in the middle of a game, or unable to restart one.
How to solve the problem?
The author of these lines was catapulted from his bot lane to the lobby without warning and unable to join the game (which apparently had disappeared). It's difficult to know what's happening at the moment since Riot is silent as a tomb, but the feedback is legion. It seems that nothing is working at the moment and in general. So unfortunately, there is no miracle solution other than to be patient and hope that Riot Games communicates soon. At first glance, only League of Legends is impacted; Valorant, for example, still works.
