LEGO Announces Two Surprising New Games That Look Awesome

Summer Game Fest 2025 started on a great note with numerous new releases and announcements of all kinds. Like every year, the conference has its share of surprises in store for us, from big games with thunderous announcements to wacky and poetic indie titles and titles we couldn't have seen coming. A bit like this mix between LEGO and Mario Party or Split Fiction. Yes, yes, you read that right and it looks just awesome.

Two new LEGO games for the whole family

It was one of the little surprises of this Summer Game Fest 2025. Behind the excellent LEGO Builder's Journey, Light Brick Studio is renewing its partnership with the Swedish brand with a new cooperative game with a twist on Split Fiction and It Takes Two. LEGO Voyagers, as it is called, will take you on a journey through an experience centered around puzzles and challenges, accessible to all ages. Like the game it is inspired by, it will offer a Friends Pass, which will allow you to invite a player to join you for free. LEGO Voyagers is expected to be released in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

And this isn't the brick game we saw all evening. Not content with adapting its formula to Josef Fares', the Swedish manufacturer is also eyeing Mario Party. It's no secret that this will be a multiplayer game (online and local) for up to 4 players, with a focus on fun above all else. Players will be able to customize their minifigure and participate in over 60 minigames themed around many fan-favorite sets, including the Ninjago theme. LEGO Party, as it is called, is also expected to be released in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here are two games that should keep the family busy for a few evenings.
