After an explosive launch this June, the Nintendo Switch 2 catalog, currently boasting more than twenty games, will continue to expand in July 2025. In addition to the exclusive Donkey Kong Bananza, which is set to hit hard, another highly anticipated game from a third-party publisher has already been confirmed for the new console from Big N, in addition to the usual PC, PS5 and Xbox Series platforms, as well as Game Pass.
A big third-party game will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 without delay
While we wait to see what Big N has in store in terms of major exclusives for the Nintendo Switch 2, in addition to Donkey Kong Bananza coming on July 17, the console will also have to rely on third-party games to fill its catalog. As such, we recently learned that Borderlands 4 would arrive a little late compared to its release date of September 12, 2025. This is not the case for another big game that is coming very soon, since it will start rolling out on July 11 on all platforms.
The game in question is of course Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, the highly anticipated remaster of the landmark third and fourth installments of the legendary skateboarding franchise. Its publisher Activision and its Iron Galaxy studio had previously confirmed that the title would be released on Nintendo Switch 2, without further details. We now have a more official date, which will therefore coincide with the worldwide release of this compilation, July 11, 2025. Note that this will be done, among other things, via the Nintendo eShop, where pre-orders are now open.
As a reminder, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 not only intends to remaster the two installments it targets, but also enhance the experience with new skaters to play as, new parks to flip and tricks to land, and much more. A highly anticipated return in great form, especially after the great success of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 released in 2021. Everyone will be able to discover all of this on their favorite platform this July 11 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, Game Pass, and therefore the Nintendo Switch 2.
