Following Imu's surprise intervention, Elbaf Island is plunged into chaos. And things aren't going to get any better in Chapter 1151, as Eiichiro Oda intends to mark a turning point in One Piece, notably by preparing for a huge, highly anticipated battle.
One Piece 1151: Both Sides Prepare for Battle
In Chapter 1150, Imu showed off his power by granting Dorry, Brogy, and other giants demonic powers. Hell is literally pouring down on Elbaf, and that's not likely to change in Chapter 1151. However, Imu won't be free to do whatever he wants—quite the opposite.
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 1151 JUST BELOW
Chapter 1151 begins exactly as 1150 ended: more and more giants are transforming into demons, and monsters straight out of children's nightmares are appearing in increasing numbers. Indeed, Killingham has a role to play in this battle, and this chapter will also be an opportunity to discover him in a hybrid form, sporting a human face and sharp teeth.
While the last few weeks have been dedicated to the villains, the trend changes today. Scopper Gaban, in a pitiful state, is being treated by Chopper. That's when Luffy reappears after a long absence, and he's not alone. Indeed, Loki receives a call from Mosa who thanks him for a reason that is still unknown. Soon after, Luffy's group joins Chopper and Scopper Gaban after the hero spots them.
With the small group reunited, everyone discovers that Ya-san is actually Scopper Gaban, one of Gol D. Roger's pirates. Someone even claims that he was the third strongest member of the crew, which the main character refutes, considering himself the second. This moment of levity will be short-lived, as Imu continues to wreak havoc.
The antagonist uses his Haki of the Kings again, shocking everyone. Sensing his Haki, Luffy understands what is happening. Loki then offers his help, which prompts everyone to prepare to face Imu.
