Atlus officially announced the launch of Persona 5 The Phantom X in Europe last May. Its successful release in certain Asian territories has allowed the publisher to look forward to the sequel with greater confidence. Players will therefore be able to discover this new game on mobile (iOS, Android) and PC in France and other countries from June 26, 2025. For the moment, and as you can see, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles are still not affected.
One of the best Persona games coming back
While waiting for the release of Persona 5 The Phantom and news of Persona 6, Atlus appeared during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 at Summer Game Fest 2025. The huge announcement is here, and fans are going crazy! Even though it's been leaked for a few weeks now, the remake of this beloved game was revealed to everyone during Microsoft's conference.
Through a first trailer that contains short in-game clips, Persona 4 Revival was unveiled on consoles and PC. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, we don't know much more about the content included in this version or the improvements made. We do know, however, that voice actor Yuri Lowenthal, who played Yosuke in the original, is not expected to return. If you haven't played Persona 4, here's the story outline. "A strange rumor slowly spreads in the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist's new home. It is also at this time that a series of mysterious murders begins. In their search for the truth, the protagonist and his friends realize they have opened the door to another world."
While waiting for Atlus to speak, we do have some information on the host platforms. Persona 4 Remake will be released on an as-yet-unannounced date on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). As with many games revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, the Nintendo Switch 2 is not mentioned, but we can't rule out the situation evolving in the coming months.
