PlayStation is meeting us tomorrow for the State of Play at the Summer Game Fest

The Summer Game Fest festivities are officially underway! Starting this afternoon, Epic Games is unveiling (right now) the upcoming innovations of the Unreal Engine. For the occasion, CD Projekt Red is showcasing a technical demo of The Witcher IV.

Starting this evening, 14 other conferences will take place for this first act of the Summer Game Fest, which will last until Monday. Before continuing with the second act at the end of August for Gamescom.

Among the conferences, we can add PlayStation's with a 40-minute State of Play tomorrow at 11 p.m.

State of Play: 40 minutes of announcements

Sony is giving us a date tomorrow, at 11 p.m. for a 40-minute State of Play. This show will reveal upcoming games on PS5. PlayStation specifies that the show will highlight games developed by creators from around the world and does not specify whether PlayStation Studios will be highlighted or not.

The June State of Play is a tradition at PlayStation, like the February and September events. It is therefore not such a big event. Remember that this is once again a secondary conference and not a PlayStation Showcase, which we haven't had since May 2023.

We still hope for some nice surprises and, why not, new glimpses of Marvel's Wolverine, Ghost of Yotei, or even Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which are the last three PlayStation Studios games to have been announced.
