Last week, Prime Gaming officially announced the list of free games coming to its catalog for June 2025. To kick things off, Amazon subscribers were treated to the excellent Mordheim: City of the Damned and The Abandoned Planet. This weekend sees the second batch of free games from the service, but with the parallel addition of two titles from ultra-cult licenses.
Two new free games via the classic Prime Gaming formula
Let's start with the arrival of the two new free games via the "classic" Prime Gaming formula, namely the recovery of the titles in question via a code to be entered on one of the partner platforms. These are two small independent games, which might nevertheless catch your attention.
Death Squarred (via GOG)
The first new free game Prime Gaming is releasing as part of its June 2025 catalog additions is Death Squarred, a 1, 2, or 4-player puzzle game developed and published by SMG Studio and released in 2017. The studio itself recommends playing it with friends you don't mind getting into a tangle with, as it will put your coordination skills to the test with tricky cube puzzles. You have until July 16, 2025 to redeem it, via a GOG code.
Station to Station (Amazon Games Application)
The second free game in the second wave of arrivals on Prime Gaming this June 2025 is Station to Station, another indie game that should appeal to train enthusiasts, developed by Galaxy Grove, published by Plug In Digital and released in 2023. The twist of this title is that it is indeed a game that aims to be minimalist, with an artistic direction all in cubes and voxels, which you gives free rein to your creativity. Free boarding until August 13, 2025 via a code on the Amazon Games app.
And two huge surprise free games on Prime Gaming via Amazon Luna
Then we come to the two new surprise free games just offered by Prime Gaming, since this time we are talking about two titles available via Amazon Luna, the American giant's Cloud Gaming plan. If you are subscribed to its services, you also automatically have access to this one, at least in its standard plan. And, if you've never played it before, you might be tempted to, because two big names are now available.
We're talking about EA Sports FC 25 and Need For Speed Unbound, two very big titles from Electronic Arts' cult licenses. They join other games from the American publisher already available on Amazon Luna via Prime Gaming, including the Star Wars Jedi license, and Dead Space. To get them, however, you'll have to go to the official Amazon Luna website.
