It's June 17, 2025 (as of this writing), and as expected, the new selection of PS Plus Extra and Premium games is now available. After several busy weeks thanks to the Days of Play, Sony is returning to its usual rhythm with a more classic selection, which could disappoint some subscribers.
Lots of games available for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers
On the PS Plus Extra side, the June 2025 update adds eight new titles to the catalog, available from June 17. Headlining this is FBC: Firebreak, a cooperative multiplayer game developed by Remedy, which takes place in the strange and supernatural universe of Control. This title, playable upon release, offers dynamic missions in an unstable world, where coordination and power management will be key.
Another notable addition to PS Plus Extra: Battlefield 2042, EA's futuristic FPS, which continues to expand in content and remains a benchmark for fans of large-scale combat. For horror fans, Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 promises a new burst of chilling mini-games in virtual reality (or not), always centered on the famous animatronics.
- FBC: Firebreak (PS5)
- Battlefield 2042 (PS4, PS5)
- Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 (PS5)
- theHunter: Call of the Wild (PS4)
- We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie (PS4, PS5)
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (PS4, PS5)
- Train Sim World 5 (PS4, PS5)
- Endless Dungeon (PS4, PS5)
Lots of different genres
Players in search of nature can turn to theHunter: Call of the Wild, an open-world hunting simulator with realistic art direction. Lighter on PS Plus Extra and Premium, We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie returns with its unique formula mixing chaos and Japanese humor, in a modernized version of this cult classic. On the RPG side, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, spiritual successor to Suikoden, mixes retro graphics and strategic combat with a gallery of more than 100 playable characters.
For PS Plus train simulation fans, Train Sim World 5 lets you explore new routes at the controls of faithfully modeled trains. Finally, Endless Dungeon offers an original mix of tower defense, real-time action and rogue-lite in a colorful science fiction universe. A fairly varied selection, therefore, which attempts to satisfy a wide range of profiles.
Only one new feature for PS Plus Premium
For PS Plus Premium subscribers, June 2025 is likely to leave a bitter taste. After an already rather poor May, marked by a single retro addition, the trend is not reversing. This time again, only one new game joins the catalog, and it's a classic: Deus Ex: The Conspiracy, the PS2 version of the famous cyberpunk RPG originally released in 2002.
