PS5: A new free game that gives you an ultra-easy Platinum trophy

PS5: A new free game that gives you an ultra-easy Platinum trophy

Free games are everywhere and almost all the time. Whether it's the Epic Games Store every Thursday, Steam almost every week, or GOG and Prime Gaming, players are spoiled for choice. Even on consoles, there's plenty to choose from now on. And sometimes, they're not even special offers. Recently, an "atypical" free-to-play game, not to mention quite bizarre, joined the PS5 catalog. And in addition to being completely free, it offers a platinum trophy without forcing it.

How about a completely WTF free game on PS5?

Many players complain about all these strange, even downright disturbing, games that are just there to give away free trophies. Some of them clearly look like scams, real scams. It was just such an oddity that landed on PS5 in mid-May: I’m in Love With Your Dead Grandmother’s - Battle Royale. Why? How? What’s the rationale behind this strange title? I don’t know, no one really knows. But the fact remains that it’s free on PS5 and offers a platinum trophy for next to nothing, which will be enough for some hardcore gamers.

PS5: A new free game that gives you an ultra-easy Platinum trophy

IILWYDGM-BR (even shortened, the title gives you a headache) is the latest addition to a franchise that already includes several completely WTF games, all from the same creator, Noah Smalljohnson (from what he tells us). It's a battle royale, a "real banger" according to its creator, which pits up to 10 players against each other in deathmatches to win. The game will apparently have several seasons, since among a whole bunch of paid cosmetic packs, you can find a season pass costing a whopping €17.99. Fortunately, you won't have to pay anything to play this UFO on PS5. So if you want to have a little acid trip and unlock a Platinum without really earning it, you can find I’m in Love With Your Dead Grandmother’s - Battle Royale for free in the PS Store PS5.
