Steam: Three games to try for free and they look very promising

Want to try out promising games for free before their release? Steam is currently full of demos worth checking out. Three titles in particular are currently attracting attention, each in a very distinct genre. Here's why you should try them out right away.

A free demo on Steam for this highly anticipated PC game

Originally released on PS5, Stellar Blade has arrived on Steam with a playable demo since May 30. The perfect opportunity to discover this spectacular action game by SHIFT UP, now optimized for PC. In a post-apocalyptic world devastated by the Naytibas, you play as EVE, a formidable fighter from the 7th Airborne Squadron, ready to retake Earth to save humanity. The demo takes you back to the very beginning of the game with fast-paced combat, brutal combos, and epic bosses. You'll also discover a rich universe, blending science fiction, ruins, and mature themes.

Bonus: Progress from the Steam demo will carry over to the full game if you purchase it. All with DLSS-enhanced graphics, optional HD textures, and DualSense controller compatibility (haptic feedback and adaptive triggers included).

Another eagerly awaited game to try for free

Available as a demo from June 2nd to 16th on Steam, Hell is Us is aimed at fans of immersive and demanding adventure games. No map, no markers: here, we explore, we observe, we listen. Developed by Nacon with Jonathan Jacques-BelletĂȘte as creative director (Deus Ex), the game immerses you in a country ravaged by war and supernatural creatures. Your mission: understand, investigate, and survive in a hostile world, without intrusive instructions. A unique atmosphere, between Dark Souls, Outer Wilds and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. An ambitious game that focuses on player freedom, observation skills and environmental storytelling.

A unique experience can also be tested on Steam

Change of tone with Dispatch on Steam, an interactive comedy in a universe where superheroes have a telephone switchboard... and you are the operator. Between absurd crisis management, questionable moral decisions and delicious dialogues, the game offers an original concept and a light but intelligent tone.

Created by AdHoc Studio (founded by former Telltale Games employees), Dispatch was revealed at The Game Awards 2023. Its demo allows you to discover narrative gameplay very focused on choices, humor and staging. All with a sitcom atmosphere and stylized artistic direction.
