Like every year since 2020, Geoff Keighley invites us to the Summer Game Fest in June. One of the biggest events of the year in the video game industry, where we have the right to several conferences to discover the future of gaming and the new games that will arrive in the months and years to come.
Every year, there are many gaming conferences to follow and it is not always easy to find your way around with the different dates and times (in French). That's why we're offering you this comprehensive guide to help you find your way around easily.

Summer Game Fest 2025: upcoming conferences
© Summer Game FestOfficially, Summer Game Fest is a unique event, with a conference and three days of previews (Play Days), for the press and influencers, on site in Los Angeles. Unofficially, many publishers, developers, and manufacturers plan a conference during the same period to create a real annual event. This year, here's what to expect:

Where to watch the conferences?
As every year, the conferences will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms. It will therefore be possible to follow them directly on the organizers' official networks.

State of Unreal

A new special Unreal conference to discover the latest features of Unreal Engine 5 and the Epic ecosystem.
The MIX Summer Game Showcase
Formerly known as Guerrilla Collective, this conference will focus on the indie scene with the announcement and presentation of numerous games.
State of Play
PlayStation will be there for this first act of the Summer Game Fest with a 40-minute State of Play dedicated to future PS5 games from studios around the world (and not necessarily PlayStation Studios).

Keynote panel, hosted by Geoff Keighley, expected to unveil numerous games, World Premiers, and much more!
Days of the Devs

Devolver Digital

A new conference that promises to be, as always, completely crazy for Devolver Digital, who will not miss this 2025 edition of Summer Game Fest!
IOI Showcase
- Date: June 7, 2025 at 3 a.m.

During the night of Friday to Saturday, a Showcase will be organized by IO Interactive to discover new announcements, upcoming content, and collaborations around Hitman World of Assassination. A final presentation of MindsEye a few days before its release. As well as the big reveal of First Light, the famous James Bond project from IO Interactive.
Wholesome Direct
A conference that has become a must-attend event at the Summer Game Fest, with the announcement of only cozy, cute, and chill games. During one hour, around 60 games are expected to be presented and announced.
Women-led Games Showcase
A conference dedicated to games developed by creators and teams led by developers and mostly women. Around thirty games are expected to be presented.
Latin American Games Showcase

A double conference will be held on June 7 at 8 p.m. Latin American Games Show and Southeast Asian Games Show. Two conferences that will be dedicated to games and developers from Latin American countries (from 8 p.m.) and then to games and developers from Southeast Asia (from 9 p.m.).
Green Games Showcase
Tune in on June 7th from 10pm to discover a conference entirely dedicated to games concerning the environment and providing comments or a vision on ecology.
Future Games Show
Also a must-see at Summer Game Fest, the Future Games Show conference hosted by industry stars. This year, Laura Bailey (Abby in The Lost of Us Part II) and Matt Mercer (Vincent Valentine in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) will be hosting a conference where around forty games (indie and AAA) are expected to be announced and presented.
Frosty Games Festival
For the first time at Summer Game Fest, we'll be treated to the Frosty Games Fest with announcements about games developed in Australia and New Zealand.
Xbox Game Showcase
The Microsoft and Xbox conference with nearly two hours of announcements and “Day One Game Pass” which will focus, at the end of the show, on a long presentation of The Outer Worlds 2.
PC Gaming Show
Also a regular conference, the PC Gaming Show will be back with an event allowing you to discover games primarily intended for PC and a highlight of portable consoles.
Death Stranding 2 Panel

To close this end of the first act of the Summer Game Fest, Hideo Kojima and Geoff Keighley invite us to meet part of the cast of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach for a new preview a few days before the game's release on June 26.
Opening Night Live
Like every year, Geoff will be joining us in August at Gamescom with Opening Night Live to kick things off with, once again, a 2-hour show to discover the future of video games.
