When (and where) will the Vilebrequin drama end? After Pierre Chabrier's video posted on YouTube last week, and despite his promise not to respond to his former friend's "provocations," Sylvain Levy couldn't help but briefly react during a Twitch live stream. We'll tell you more below.

Yet another twist in the "Vilebrequin affair." The former YouTube duo split up in December 2023, and since August 2024, its two ex-members have been airing their dirty laundry in public. Through videos posted at regular intervals, the videographers revisit events they accuse each other of (buying a car without the other's consent, lying about their popularity, showing fake invoices, etc.). This Sunday, in response to Pierre Chabrier's video in which he announced he was quitting YouTube, Sylvain Levy, during a live stream Twitch, briefly addressed a few points of disagreement, while expressing a wish not to go any further:
It's the same as the August video but with a different edit. [...] I could answer that, but I promised not to, so I'm not going to.
Internet users clearly in favor of Sylvain Levy
Pierre Chabrier doesn't have the support of internet users, far from it. While he tried to break his image with the video "Le Comte de Menthe et Cristaux" in February 2025, the YouTuber is unable, despite all his efforts, to unite the public. In this parody of the scene, where he slips into the skin of Alexandre Dumas, the comments accuse him of "arranging the truth and never questioning himself", "blowing hot air" or even "showing himself praise".
His video posted on Sunday also failed to restore his image and convince Internet users of Sylvain Levy's guilt. The latter, although he denies his former friend's comments in his Twitch live, nevertheless publicly condemned the wave of hatred that Pierre Chabrier has endured for several months. Remember, cyberbullying is an offense punishable by law. On X, comments from Internet users have become rarer with Sylvain Levy's response, leading to fewer reactions than with previous videos.

The reaction enough Sylvain Levy's discreet confrontation with Pierre Chabrier on Twitch this weekend could well signal the end of the drama, several months (almost a year!) after the start of hostilities.
