Even after more than ten years of existence, The Sims 4 shows no signs of slowing down. Between regular paid packs and free updates, the game continues to evolve. In fact, we recently learned that EA is considering a complete rebrand. But today, the developers are announcing a new limited-time event, designed to reward active players with exclusive items. And this time, it's nature that's in the spotlight.
An event dedicated to the great outdoors for The Sims 4
Named Nature's Calling, this seasonal event for The Sims 4 will begin on June 24 and will invite players to embark on special in-game quests. Each mission will allow them to collect event points, necessary to unlock exclusive objects. These rewards will only be accessible during the event, which encourages players not to hang around too long. It will all begin with the free distribution of a recycled wood carpentry workbench, which each player will be able to find directly in the construction mode. The event's storyline will then be revealed gradually each week, with a series of quests to complete until its conclusion.
With this event, The Sims 4 continues a tried-and-tested formula with operations like Reaper's Rewards or Blast from the Past. These temporary events allow you to test out sometimes little-known gameplay objects and mechanics, while obtaining rare cosmetic items. This format is particularly popular with the community because it offers content without having to spend a lot of money. Enough to keep regular players loyal, while also encouraging old ones to come back and take a look.
A limited time, but generous
The quests in the Nature’s Calling event will be available until August 5 for The Sims 4, giving players just over a month to complete them. Once the event ends, any ununlocked items will be lost, reinforcing the sense of urgency and reward. Participating is simple: just log in with an EA account and start a save to receive the first items. A pop-up message in the game will then explain the event and how to progress.
