Thermomix: good news, the TM7 will correct its biggest flaw

Thermomix: good news, the TM7 will correct its biggest flaw

The release of the new Thermomix TM7 was a minor event in the household appliance market. More stylish, more beautiful, smarter, and just as versatile as ever, the new flagship from the German brand Vorwerk aims to leave its mark on generations of cooks. The only problem: upon its release, the model suffered from two major flaws. Not only were its delivery times particularly long, but the essential accessories that had made the TM6 famous were also missing.

Shortened lead times, finally

Vorwerk has officially reduced delivery times for the Thermomix TM7, which had been as long as 16 weeks at the height of demand. From now on, you'll only have to wait 10 weeks to receive your multifunction robot. This logistical improvement is a strong signal to consumers, as the brand has been faced with a massive influx of orders since the launch of the TM7. Once the pre-order wave has passed, and the necessary equipment has been provided to the 80,000 advisors in Europe, the brand can finally breathe a sigh of relief and look to the long term. This delivery delay should remove a major obstacle to purchasing, particularly for hesitant consumers put off by the wait.

An essential accessory is coming

The other good news concerns the Thermomix TM7 accessories ecosystem. Due to its new locking system integrated into the bowl, Vorwerk's new toy was not compatible with the TM6's Quick Cutter, which has been able to slice, grate, and spiralize since its introduction in 2022. This was one of the main criticisms of this new model, pushing many buyers to turn to the older but more complete TM6.

Good news, the manufacturer is preparing to launch an updated version of its accessory, now fully compatible with the TM7. This information, confirmed by the brand during a press event held this week, will be directly inspired by the Découpe-Minute+, expanding the culinary possibilities offered by the robot. While the price and availability date have not yet been specified, it is likely that the price will exceed €100, like the brand's previous accessories.

These two announcements come at the right time: the Thermomix TM7 continues to dominate the high-end food processor market. By focusing on expanding its range of accessories and optimizing its logistics, the brand wants to maintain a premium customer experience that lives up to its reputation.
