June is coming to an end (well, not yet), and as usual, some titles are preparing to bow out of Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft has revealed the first wave of games that will leave the catalog on July 1, 2025, and while the list is still quite short, it contains some notable experiences. It's a chance to say goodbye to them... or enjoy them one last time before it's too late.
These games will leave Xbox Game Pass in July 2025
Of the five games listed on Xbox Game Pass, Journey to the Savage Planet is undoubtedly the most notable. This first-person adventure game, released in 2020, was praised for its colorful world, quirky humor, and gameplay that combines exploration, platforming, and crafting. It recently made headlines again with the release of a sequel in May 2025, temporarily putting the first installment back in the spotlight.
The other games coming to Xbox Game Pass, while more modest, cover very different genres. SteamWorld Dig 2, for example, remains an excellent 2D adventure combining underground exploration and Metroidvania mechanics. Arcade Paradise, meanwhile, puts you in the shoes of a laundromat manager who gradually transforms his premises into a real arcade. An original and retro experience, quite unique in its genre.
On the more confidential side of productions, we find Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders, a medieval action and management game, and My Friend Peppa Pig, an educational adventure clearly designed for very young players. Quite a few indies on Xbox Game Pass.
How long does it take to finish each game?
You have until July 1, 2025 to fully enjoy the games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass. And if you plan to finish them or aim for all the achievements, you'd better not hang around.
