Microsoft is buzzing! Following the Xbox Showcase, the manufacturer has allowed itself a few additional announcements, and not the least. Indeed, it teased nothing less than the preparation of a new console. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves. The current hardware is far from being put away. The Xbox Series is getting a new update with welcome features.
A patch that offers a new look for the Xbox Series
The Xbox Series X|S still has some up its sleeve. Despite some disappointments with new games recently, this time things should go better on the hardware side. In fact, the console has just received a new system update. Moving to version 10.0.26100.4855, it should once again improve the experience of players in its interface.
Indeed, the new Xbox Series patch offers greater customization of the home space. From now on, you can hide native applications for example. You can also pin your favorites and reduce the number of tiles appearing in the menu of the most used games and applications. This gives you better management of your space.
In the same vein, the game hubs are improving on Xbox Series. Following on from last April's facelift, their display continues to improve. You will find information related to your games more clearly, such as your statistics, achievements, or even recent screenshots. It's up to you to customize this space from "Games and apps" in the "Personalization" menu.
In addition to interface updates, the new version of the Xbox Series system opens up new benefits for free-to-play games to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. These include cosmetic items, but also characters and even currency for certain titles.
Finally, the June update improves a very useful feature of the Xbox Series. Cloud backup has been redesigned. It features a new progress bar, device names, and a clearer timestamp. You'll have the most relevant information to help you navigate your files!
