Civilization VII, a 4X strategy game, is particularly awaited by fans of the genre but also of the franchise. This new opus promises to revolutionize quite a few gameplay elements while keeping the very essence of the Sid Meier’s Civilization games. But while it looks incredible, it also promises to be very expensive.

Developed by Amplitude Studios, it's the French alternative to the Civilization franchise.
Humanity at his prime
The title is presented in the form of a 4X in which players lead their civilization through seven different eras: the Neolithic, the ancient era, classical antiquity, the Middle Ages, the modern era, the industrial era, and the contemporary era. The principle is exactly the same as games of the genre; it will be necessary to build cities, make peoples and nations prosper through the ages in order to build a timeless empire.
This offer is a way for the French studio to highlight its game at a time when it could be eclipsed by a giant in the industry. The shadow of Civilization VII will continue to hover over other strategy games for a little while, but this attempt at least allows players to explore their options.
