In 2025, Samsung would launch these three folding smartphones

Samsung is determined to defend its position as the leader in the foldable smartphone sector. The first indications of the models planned for 2025 have just emerged thanks to the One UI 7 beta, revealing information on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7, and Fold SE 2.

One UI 7 reveals three Samsung foldable smartphones for 2025

The One UI 7 beta, currently in testing, reveals a list of Samsung’s upcoming flagship models, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7, and Fold SE 2. The devices carry the model numbers SM-F751, SM-F966, and SM-F968. This numbering logic, which increases by ten each year, remains true to the brand's habits.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 are in line with the existing ranges, while the Fold SE 2 seems to be an evolution of the current Fold Special Edition version. However, no definitive commercial name has been confirmed for these devices, leaving open the possibility of a name change, especially if Samsung plans an international launch.

Two models are conspicuous by their absence

Despite these confirmations, two expected models are not on the list: the Galaxy S25 Slim (SM-S937) and the Galaxy Z Flip FE, although mentioned in previous leaks. This absence raises questions, although rumors continue to point to a 2025 launch.

Samsung nevertheless appears poised to maintain its dominance of the foldable smartphone market in 2025, even if they aren’t expected to be available until mid-year. However, the brand will need to improve specifications and features to compete with the growing competition in this segment. These early details offer a promising glimpse into the future of foldables at Samsung, while we wait for official announcements to be sure.
