PlayStation Plus: a ton of games arrive in June

For the second half of the month, Sony is leaving aside its Days of Play, which lasted from May 29 to June 12. After a period of great promotions and more than tempting monthly games, it is time for the company to give us a preview of the games that will join the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs. They will be available to test from June 18 for all corresponding subscribers.

Extra and Premium Games

A few weeks ago, Sony had already given us a first preview of the games that were to arrive in the catalog in June for Extra and Premium subscribers. PS4 and PS5 games, but also a few retro opuses as desired, with the exceptional addition of 3 PS2 titles for the first time.

In addition to these, there are virtual reality games for the PSVR 2, which should please technology lovers. Of course, in the lot we find essential bangers, such as GTA San Andreas to name but one. LEGO also provides us with some of its best revisits, including The Incredibles and The Hobbit. Some have found themselves early availability dates which are specified in parentheses.

For everyone: fighting and a sponge

Before that, the manufacturer had revealed which 3 games will be offered as part of all PlayStation Plus subscriptions from June 4. The first game is Streets of Rage 4, a classic of the beat em up genre that combines modernity and pixel art. The franchise has been beloved by gamers for over 25 years, so now is the time to get started if you have never tried it.

Next, fans of adventure and platforming can turn to SpongeBob: The Cosmic Shake. This opus propels Bob and his friends into a world that is part of the multiverse fashion. The big news is that the hero can unlock absolutely crazy skins and costumes.

Finally, players will be able to recover the title AEW Fight Forever, a wrestling game with playable characters well known to the general public. In addition to this vintage, Sony is offering subscribers access to EA Sports FC 24 for longer than expected. Instead of leaving the catalog on June 4, the title will remain until June 18 so that you can add it to your library.
