Today, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand, Sony is offering us the very first teaser of its next console, confirming the words and design revealed by billbil-kun.
The PS5 Pro: Sony begins communication
It was through an article on the PlayStation Blog, as well as the various publications on social networks that Sony had fun teasing the arrival of its next PS5 Pro. To address the various events related to PlayStation's 30th anniversary, a nice visual was shared with all the PlayStation consoles and accessories that we have had the chance to discover over the past thirty years.
Amidst all these objects, hidden behind the "30th Anniversary" logo, we notice a console unknown to the battalion. A console very similar to the PS5 Slim, but with three stripes on its faceplate, as suggested by billbil-kun last week. You're not dreaming, Sony has just confirmed the existence of the PS5 Pro and at the same time, validated last week's leak.
PS5 Pro: the presentation coming soon?
Now that the announcement has been made, via this teaser, one question remains: when will there be an official presentation, to show us the official design, talk about the features, and especially the price of the console?
If Sony has opted for a teaser this week, there is a very good chance that an event could take place as early as next week. A State of Play, to unveil the console and especially the first games that will have to be solid arguments to convince players. According to several insiders, a big State of Play would be planned for next Tuesday or Wednesday. For the first time in a very long time, this State of Play should highlight big announcements from PlayStation Studios and lift the veil on this PS5 Pro.
In any case, it is only a matter of time before Sony decides to let loose on all official information about the PS5 Pro. Still according to several sources, the console would be planned for the end of this year 2024 and more precisely the month of November.
