Twitterization
Twitch, which now belongs to Amazon, offers with Pulse a new way of communicating for streamers or simple users. This is a chronological news feed in which users, streamers or not, can build relationships and broadcast short messages. It's very similar to Twitter!
Of course, the broadcasting of live video games is still at the heart of the platform. Pulse allows users to broadcast their games live directly in their status, in the same way as Periscope on Twitter. Links that viewers can directly comment on.

Of course, we find classic features for a network of this type, such as sharing, the possibility to publish gifs (via Imgur or Gfycat) or even use emoticons specific to the platform.
With Pulse, Twitch hopes to gain its independence from other networks, such as Twitter. The goal? To keep users on the network as long as possible and not be twitodependent when it comes to live announcements or communication between streamers and their community.
Of course, we will have to wait a few months before knowing whether it works or not.
