Announced a few days ago during the last State of Play (after many months of rumors), Days Gone Remastered will arrive in April 2025 on the occasion of the game's sixth anniversary. The good news? If you own the physical and/or digital version of the game on PS4, you will be able to get the Remastered version for PS5 and PS5 Pro for only 10 euros. But, not everyone will be entitled to it.
No discount for PS Plus versions!
The game Days Gone, which allows you to discover the adventures of Deacon St John in a devastated world invaded by hordes of zombies, will soon be back. From April 25, 2025, players will be able to discover or rediscover this title from Bend Studio, in the best possible conditions, on PS5 and with optimization on PS5 Pro.
If you already fell for the game in 2019, when it was released on PS4 and you still own your game physically or digitally, it will be possible to obtain the new PS5 update for only 10 euros, via an upgrade on the PlayStation Store. On the other hand, Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Plus versions of Days Gone, which were offered at the launch of the PS5 in 2020, are not eligible for this offer.
So, if you didn't buy your version at full price when it was released, and you got it for free thanks to your PS Plus subscription, you'll have to pay again. Therefore, the little tip we recommend is to buy a second-hand physical version of the game which can be found between 15 and 20 euros almost everywhere on the Internet (and sometimes cheaper) and to update it at from this used version.
Please note that once the update is done, you will still need the physical game to be able to access your PS5/PS5 Pro version.
