The remake of Star Wars Kotor is still in development

It will be four years since the remake of Star Wars KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) was announced during a PlayStation Showcase in September 2021. Since then, we have remained without news with only many not very reassuring rumors, evoking a possible cancellation of the game.

After reassuring players in September 2024, Saber speaks again to confirm, once again, that the game is still in production and that it remains a priority to today.

Star Wars KOTOR: Hope Remains

Yes, the Star Wars KOTOR remake is still in development. After announcing the success of its fundraising last September, on LinkedIn, Saber Interactive confirmed that Star Wars KOTOR Remake and the game Jurassic Park Survival were indeed in full production and that they were both top priorities.

Today, Tim Willits, Saber's creative director, is speaking out on Twitter/X. The latter reaffirms once again that the studio's projects are moving in the right direction, without problems and that there have been no cancellations. This therefore concerns the Star Wars game, but also the Jurassic Park game, which has also been very discreet since its announcement at the Game Awards 2023.

So of course, still no release date and no more details. Moreover, Tim Willits does not even mention the games in question, he simply confirms that all the projects that were previously announced by Saber Interactive are still relevant. We're still very eager to know a little more, although this is still excellent news.
