The RTX 5060 Ti is expected to launch in about a month, the RTX 5060 in two months. Nvidia is taking its time after the setbacks experienced with other Blackwell GPUs.
While we were hoping for a while to see the RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards arrive this March, we will ultimately have to be a little more patient. On the Board Channels forums, where the contributors are known for their reliability, we learned that Nvidia has pushed back the release of this model, and that of the RTX 5060, to a later date than previously planned.
The RTX 5060 Ti, which will be available in a 16GB VRAM version and another with 8GB of VRAM, should be launched around mid-April. The RTX 5060 should appear a month later, around mid-May. It's unclear whether Nvidia had planned to showcase one or more models at the currently underway GTC 2025, but the Greens have changed their plans if that was the case, as the graphics cards did not appear at the event.
The wait continues for the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060
Nvidia has encountered several hiccups with the release of the other RTX 50 series GPUs and may prefer to focus its efforts on its high-end graphics cards already available on the market rather than venturing into already commercializing new references. We remind you that the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 are regularly out of stock and that they are never displayed at the price announced by Nvidia.
Beyond this supply problem, some RTX 50 GPUs have experienced manufacturing defects causing a lack of rendering units (ROP) and causing a drop in performance of defective products. We also do not forget the case of the RTX 5090 power cable connectors which melted following overheating, or users who experienced a black screen with their RTX 5090 or RTX 5080.
The RTX 5070 is expected to feature a GB206 GPU with 4,608 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory interface with GDDR7. Its price is expected to be between US$400 and US$500. The RTX 5060 and its GB207 GPU with 2,560 CUDA cores would aim for around 300 US dollars. 5060Ti/5060 delayed releasehttps://t.co/VFxgs92PoL pic.twitter.com/W6csIdEByl
