The Ultra Poco F7 is coming, the new king of the performance-prix report?

It is expected to be launched Coming to the market very soon, the Poco F7 Ultra has been spotted in the database of the Thai certification body NBTC. It appears under the model number 24122RKC7G and should be a slightly reworked version of the Redmi K80 Pro released in China last November.

We know that the Poco F7 Ultra has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12 or 16 GB of RAM depending on the configuration. The Redmi K80 Pro's performance on benchmarks is impressive, while the Poco F7 Ultra's performance should be roughly equal. Poco is a brand owned by Xiaomi. It promises smartphones with a particularly attractive price-performance ratio. Users can therefore access fast devices that remain fast for a long time for a price lower than those charged by the competition. Concessions are however made on other technical aspects, such as photography.

The Poco F7 Ultra focuses on the performance of its chip

The Poco F7 Ultra is expected to have a 6.67-inch OLED screen, QHD+ definition (1440p) and 120 Hz refresh rate. The photo part would be entrusted to a 50 MP, f/1.6, 24 mm main sensor, at a 32 MP, f/2.2, 15 mm ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50 MP, f/2.0, 60 mm telephoto lens (2.5x optical zoom equivalent).

The Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery. But it is not uncommon for Chinese versions of Xiaomi smartphones to have a battery with a higher capacity. The Poco F7 Ultra available here could therefore have a battery of less than 6,000 mAh. 120 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging would, however, be there.

The Poco F7 Ultra will be delivered under HyperOS 2.0, Xiaomi's overlay based on Android 15. It is certified IP68, features an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the screen and will be available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options (not all of which will necessarily be available in France). The Poco F7 Pro is expected to be released at the same time, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
