Avatar 3: The first official image revealed validates this dark theory

On December 17, Avatar fans will be able to discover the sequel to Jake and Neytiri's adventures on the planet Pandora in theaters. This third installment of the colossal franchise is now revealed through a new image. The choice of character is, however, surprising, and corroborates a dark theory.

Avatar 3 is revealed in images

Alongside CinemaCon, where our American colleagues had the chance to discover images of Fire & Ash in preview, the Empire website shared a first official photo of the film. It shows Loak, Jake and Neytiri's son, on the back of Payakan, a young male tulkun. The two characters formed a strong bond in the previous film of the franchise, the gigantic space whale and the troublemaker of the siblings having truly "found each other." Although the Na'vi and the creature are popular among fans of the saga, it is surprising that James Cameron chose to highlight them for the promotion of the film, which is only just beginning. Unless this validates a dark theory we already told you about on Hitek...

Fire & Ash: This theory validated by the first image of the film?

After James Cameron confided his wife's reaction to the screening of Avatar 3 in an interview in March, a sad theory about the tragic end of a character began to become very popular among fans. The director's wife could not hold back her tears after discovering Fire & Ash, and it could well be that Jake Sully does not survive the events of the film. This hypothesis already had solid arguments, and this is even more the case with the release of the photo above. Indeed, why choose a secondary character to illustrate the third part of the saga, to the detriment of Jake or Neytiri? The most likely explanation is that James Cameron is "gently" preparing us for the young man to become the hero of the saga, he whose voice was already used voiceover in The Way of Water.

Will Jake be killed by the Ash People in Avatar 3?

On the Discussing Film website, you can read a description of the footage from Fire & Ash shown at CinemaCon. An airstrike and a very hostile Ash People are mentioned.

The next scene shows an airstrike against Jake, Neytiri, and their clan by the Ash People, who have red paint on their mouths to indicate their tribe. We then cut to a more traditional trailer. [...] The Ash People are a vicious tribe, who drove the Water Tribe from their home. One of the most prominent elements is the rage building within Neytiri, whom Jake calls out in a heartbreaking moment. Jake hugs Spider. There is a tense confrontation between Neytiri and the Ash People leader. Similarly, the Ash Tribe leader tells Kiri that "his God does not rule here." At one point, Spider's mask is broken. The last thing we see is a glimpse of a massive action sequence in the sky, with platforms rising toward the top of the sky. This sequence is completely unreal and exceeds all expectations.

The threat posed by the Ash People is clearly stated. Jake Sully's tragic departure is becoming increasingly clear, and it's most likely that this enemy tribe is the cause. What do you think of this hypothesis?
