Microsoft is struggling to get users to switch to Windows 11

Windows 10 remains the most widely used operating system on PCs, despite Microsoft's repeated attempts to push users to upgrade to Windows 11. Microsoft appears to be taking a new tactic by making it more restrictive to upgrade its PCs. Indeed, to migrate to Windows 11, users will now have to accept the TPM 2.0 requirement, which Microsoft describes as "the PC's seatbelt", or invest in a new, recent machine natively equipped with TPM 2.0.

Our tests of the week

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered: a few bugs but sublime graphics

This reissue is a total success! We were won over by the sublime graphics, the flexibility of the gameplay, the clear interface, and the presence of the expansions. Old fans will find what they're looking for, but The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered should also appeal to RPG fans who are discovering the title. Be careful, the animations are still stiff, there are still a few bugs, and there is no French version.

Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 2025: a very attractive PC despite a slightly high price

If your budget allows it and you're looking for a powerful PC for your best games, the ROG Strix Scar 18 2025 could catch your attention. Its mini LED screen is very bright, the speakers are very well made, the connectivity is complete and we love the AnimeVision device. Bonus points for the particularly easy access to SSDs and the possibility of adding an additional M.2 SSD. Small drawbacks, the battery life is low and the weight is not suitable for mobility.
