This is particularly the case with La Mer de Sable, located in Ermenonville, northeast of Paris. The family park, popular with residents of Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France, is preparing to inaugurate a new attraction that is both thrilling and accessible. In order to enrich its environment inspired by by the Far West, the destination has invested 5.5 million euros – one of the largest investments since the park opened in 1963 – for the construction of Wild Buffalo, a traditional wooden roller coaster. The attraction will open its doors to the public this Saturday, April 26, and here is everything you need to know about this beautiful beast. The new attraction has been built to enhance the 2025 season of La Mer de Sable with a major new feature. Great Coasters International has designed this attraction to offer enough excitement and adrenaline without overwhelming even the least experienced roller coaster riders. The brand-new wooden coaster offers a 500-meter ride, with a top speed of 70 km/h and a 40-meter-long immersive tunnel for an added spectacular effect. src="https://www.journaldugeek.com/app/uploads/2025/04/482219495_953311350334999_5592288318084703718_n.jpg"> This attraction is accessible from 1.10m, making this new attraction a must-see for families.
