Tired of missing out on your friends' secret cards on Pokémon TCG Pocket? We've got you covered. As if to make up for the frustrating new animation for miracle draws, Pokémon and DeNA have decided to make them a little simpler. By logging into the app between yesterday and today, you may have noticed the appearance of a new banner just above the miracle draw button. This one warns us that "eye strikes are available", but what does that mean?
The "eye strike", how does it work?
Throughout this "eye strike" campaign, players can get an extra chance to find the card they want in the miracle draw piles. To do this, simply proceed in the usual way. After paying for the miracle draw pile – in vitality or hourglasses – The first tap on one of the cards reveals its appearance. If it is the right card, just tap it a second time when the preview disappears. Otherwise, all that remains is Cross your fingers and try one of the other four.
However, it seems that the glimpse is not systematically activated on miracle picks. The developers have been careful not to reveal the secrets of this new mechanic and prefer to leave us in the dark by specifying that only "certain miracle picks" can benefit from it. At the time of writing, there is still no explanation as to why some picks do not trigger the glimpse. However, it is not impossible that the trigger rate will decrease the rarer the cards offered.
Until when can we take advantage of this feature?
The current sneak peek campaign began on Thursday, April 3rd at 8 a.m. (French time) and will end on April 10th at 7:59 a.m. (French time). If you have a lot of miracle hourglasses in your possession, it's high time to go spend them. Currently, the best way to obtain large quantities of Miraculous Hourglasses is to complete the missions of the Pokémon TCG Pocket Premium Pass. As a reminder, this pass costs €9.99 per month and allows access to one additional booster pack opening per day, as well as special missions and an exclusive cosmetics shop. In addition, the current premium items are in the colors of Shiny Charizard to accompany the Radiant Revelry themed booster packs. Have you already managed to draw the Charizard card in question?
