The end of spring marks the time for major video game conferences. It's been a few years now since E3 bowed out. However, a new stage has emerged for publishers to make their announcements in due form. This is the famous Summer Game Fest, organized and presented by Geoff Keighley. The big event will of course return in 2025, the first information is being revealed.
The appointment is made for the Summer Game Fest 2025
Launched in 2020, the Summer Game Fest has become an unmissable event every summer. It is an opportunity for publishers and development studios to present their current projects. The 2024 edition, for example, gave a good spotlight to the next Doom and created the surprise with Clair Obscur Expedition 33. We even had news of a certain Fable.
The Summer Game Fest 2025 is therefore highly anticipated by the entire gaming world. The countdown has officially begun. Geoff Keigley has announced that we will meet on Friday, June 6, at 11 p.m. in France. This is when Twitch and YouTube will hold the big opening party, bringing together the major players in the sector for the biggest announcements. But the program will continue until June 9 with conferences from the publishers themselves. Here's the schedule
- Friday, June 6, from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.: SGF 2025 Opening Keynote
- Saturday, June 8, at 7 p.m.: Xbox Games Showcase + The Outer Worlds 2 Direct

A big Xbox Showcase is coming
It's a key player: Microsoft will obviously hold a big conference to present all the big new features from Xbox Games Studios. Among them, we hope to finally have something concrete for Fable. Also, last year, a detailed presentation of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 followed the Showcase. This year, it is The Outer Worlds 2 that will have the first of a dedicated live stream during the Summer Game Fest. The Obsidian game will thus reveal its gameplay and its first new features.
