The Sims 4 is getting a big new update, here's what's changing

Since going free-to-play, The Sims 4 has been paying even more attention to the experience it offers. Electronic Arts and Maxis are counting on players to report any issues they encounter during their games. Thus, the teams are working to fix everything they can in new updates. A new one is coming soon, and we know what it will fix very soon.

The Sims 4 is getting ready to Fix a ton of problems

Maxis and Electronic Arts are particularly active when it comes to bringing updates to The Sims 4. But we can distinguish two types of patches: those that integrate new content into the game and those that take the form of fixes. It is therefore the second type that will be very soon.

In fact, EA will soon bring an update that should fix a good number of bugs in the game. These mainly concern problems interacting with objects or modifications that do not trigger. No date is given immediately, but we have already The list of issues that should disappear in The Sims 4:

  • The inability to water plants in The Sims 4.
  • The bug that does not grant a third trait to teens who become young adults.
  • Vampire eyes return to normal on children.
  • High school event tasks do not appear for secondary active teen Sims.
  • Arm hair not being removed despite a chosen length.
  • Sims with any level of the Logic skill cannot solve problems during the Chess Team's Science Fair.
  • A Sims 4 bug prevents ghosts from appearing in the reincarnation menu.
  • The "Reincarnate" interaction causes a simulation error for Sims with traits like "Loves Affection," "Loved," and "Wise in Love."
  • Light beams appear at each time for the supernatural creature selector in the CUS UI.
  • The presence of multiple ghosts in the household freezes the Sims and crashes the game in the save menu.
  • A plant gets black dots when zoomed out.
  • With The Sims 4 on Mac, the game no longer responds when moving to the library or the Willow Creek nightclub.

The studio is finally inspecting other bugs. Among the most important, it is focusing on finding a solution to the save issue reported for several weeks. It will be resolved soon, but it will certainly take a little longer for those mentioned above. This also applies to the weather effects that appear inside buildings and the fishing bugs in Sulani.
