Indeed, we recently learned that Disney was preparing the return of the famous sitcom Malcolm with four new episodes that will be offered on the Disney+ platform. While almost the entire main cast will be back (with the exception of Erik Per Sullivan), we hope that these secondary characters will be present for the occasion.

But the sitcom led by Frankie Muniz will not be the only program to make its comeback to delight nostalgic fans since Buffy will also be making its return to our screens to attack vampires. Hulu is developing the reboot of the series that was offered in the Saturday Trilogy in the 1990s/2000s. Moreover, its lead actress at the time, Sarah Michelle Gellar would be about to join the project without holding the lead role.

In March 2023, it is another series that has made its mark television in the 90s that had made people talk about it again: X-Files. Indeed, its creator, Chris Carter announced that his series was preparing to make its return to TV with a diverse cast and to oversee the project, he chose Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther for the MCU.

The latter has just given an interview in which he spoke about his reboot of X-Files. Ryan Coogler explained that he hopes to be able to bring back Gillian Anderson who carried the original series alongside David Duchovny. He also spoke to the actress:

She's incredible. Fingers crossed she'll be there.

For her part, when the reboot of the series under the leadership of Ryan Coogler was announced, the main person concerned had declared that she "couldn't think of a better way to go about a reboot," calling the director "a genius":

Whether I'll get involved or not is another story. I'm not saying no. I think he's really cool (...) And maybe I'll come along for a ride.

Ryan Coogler reassured fans of X-Files by stating that he will "try to make something really great and that will really appeal to true fans and maybe even find some new ones".

As a reminder, X-Files aired for 9 seasons between 1993 and 2002. The series spawned two feature films in 1998 and 2008 and had made a return to television for two seasons from 2016 to 2018.
