Nine Assassin’s Creed games by 2030

Assassin’s Creed: 9 games are currently in preparation

Once again, it’s our colleagues at Insider-Gaming who reveal interesting information about Ubisoft's upcoming projects for the Assassin's Creed saga.

After the postponement of Assassin's Creed Shadows (twice), the publisher's plans have apparently changed a little. It would now be no less than nine Assassin’s Creed games that would be in preparation for the next six years.

Among these games, we find two major opuses, with an RPG orientation that should be released two or three years apart.
We also have three remakes, two more modest experiences than the main games (like Assassin’s Creed Mirage), two multiplayer games as well as a mobile game.

Here is the list of games that would therefore be in preparation at Ubisoft:

  • Assassin’s Creed Jade: the mobile game that should be the next game after Shadows (release planned for 2025)
  • Assassin’s Creed Invictus: A multiplayer service game, which should benefit from at least five years of support and which should arrive at the end of 2025 (release planned for the end of 2025)
  • Assassin’s Creed Obsidian: The remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag which will benefit from the new Anvil graphics engine. Its release would be planned around that of Invictus, but a little later, at the beginning of 2026. (Release planned for the beginning of 2026)
  • Assassin’s Creed Hexe: A smaller project, similar to Mirage, with a horror game orientation. The game is planned for release at the end of the Shadows roadmap (i.e. in two years). Hexe will host DLC over a year (release planned for 2027/2028).
  • Assassin’s Creed Scarlet: the next RPG and major installment in the main saga, which will be released after Hexe. According to initial rumors, India, the Mediterranean, and the Aztec Empire could be the focus of the game (Release planned for 2028/2029).
  • Assassin’s Creed Stardust: another remake that should arrive after that of Black Flag. Several rumors suggest that the first Assassin's Creed installment could be the subject of the remake (Planned release date not yet announced).
  • Assassin's Creed Emerald: the second multiplayer game that would be in PvE form, expected after the Stardust Remake. Like Invictus, Ubisoft would plan to support it for five years in the event of success (Planned release date not yet announced).
  • RPG3: another RPG from the main franchise. For the moment, very little information, but the title would be expected two years after the release of the previous RPG game Scarlet. (Release planned for 2030/2031)
  • Remake3: finally, a final remake that would be released about a year after the RPG3 mentioned just before (Release planned for 2031/2032).

What do you think of this program? Do you think it's a good thing for the Assassin's Creed license? And which project are you most excited about at the moment?
