The postponement of the two Marvel behemoths
Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are almost expected as the saviors of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Two blockbusters that will approach the concept of the multiverse in a new way and that will feature Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Doomsday. Initially, Avengers: Doomsday was scheduled for release on April 30, 2026 in French cinemas; While Avengers: Secret Wars was supposed to be released a year later, on May 5, 2027 in French theaters. But Marvel Studios has decided to disrupt its schedule and delay the release of the two giants. Avengers: Doomsday is now expected on December 18, 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for December 17, 2027. This unexpected delay is obviously frustrating Marvel fans. These two postponements, however, change the release order of the next Marvel films. Initially, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, expected for July 29, 2026, was supposed to be released between the two Avengers, and thus serve as a bridge between Doomsday and Secret Wars. Ultimately, this fourth installment of the Spider-Man saga will be released before Doomsday. This may be a clue as to the content of Brand New Day. It is therefore possible that Destin Daniel Cretton's film will be more disconnected from the next two Avengers than expected.
