It's finally confirmed, after the great disappointment of seeing the collector's edition reserved for foreign countries, French fans of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will finally be able to get their hands on this beautiful version. And even if it arrives with a few adjustments, the announcement has the effect of a small event in the community.
The Clair Obscur Expedition 33 collector's edition finally in France!
When it was released, the collector's edition of the game Clair Obscur Expedition 33 sold out in a flash. But to everyone's surprise, it had never been available in France. An absence that had caused some teeth to grind, especially for a game developed... in France. Today, this anomaly has been corrected. Sandfall Interactive, in partnership with Laced Audio, is launching a new version called the Monolith Set. An alternative for those who weren't lucky enough to order the first edition in time.
The contents of the Monolith Set have been carefully designed to appeal to collectors and fans of the game's universe. Inside, we find a hand-painted Monolith Clair Obscur Expedition 33 music box, which features the iconic sounds of the adventure. The box set also includes an illustrated steelbook featuring Gustave, Maelle, and the Painter, as well as a 48-page expedition journal filled with sketches, drafts, and artwork created during development. However, it should be noted that this edition does not contain the game or additional digital content. This is a deliberate choice, which allows the studio to offer this box set at a more affordable price. But another version exists.

This Clair Obscur Expedition 33 collector's box set is available at 119 euros in France and is also available in several other regions. French players can order it via Pix’n Love, which guarantees more reasonable shipping costs and simpler logistics. Better yet, a bundle with the game included is also available from the same retailer, starting at €165. This combo pack is scheduled for delivery between winter 2025 and early 2026. Pre-orders are open and will remain available until Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Quantities are limited to two copies per person to prevent abusive resale.
