Just over a month separates players from the release of Death Stranding 2. Indeed, the game will be available exclusively from June 26, 2025, or via early access on June 24, 2025 for buyers of the Digital Deluxe and Collector's Editions. And there will be no possible delay since Kojima Productions announced the gold status of this sequel a few days ago. If you're planning to go out between two sessions, an event not to be missed for French fans has been made official.
A special Death Stranding 2 event with Hideo Kojima
Similar to what happened in 2019 for Death Stranding, the studio is announcing a "World Strand Tour" for DS2 On the Beach. "Kojima Production confirmed today that the studio is preparing to visit 12 locations around the world to celebrate the launch of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which arrives exclusively on PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025." This world tour will therefore take place in two 12 destinations, including France. And as always in these cases, you will have to go to Paris. Since the event is taking place for the release of Death Stranding 2 On the Beach, it will take place shortly after the launch.
As for Paris, it will be on Saturday, June 28, 2025. "Fans from around the world will be able to participate in a celebration of all things Death Stranding as part of a world tour, with special guests and events at each stop." We don't have a crystal ball, nor any more details, but we suspect that the special guests in France could be Woodkid and/or Léa Seydoux, who are respectively one of the composers and the actress of Fragile in Death Stranding 2. Obviously, Hideo Kojima will be there to meet fans, and perhaps artistic director Yoji Shinkawa will also make the trip.
