Diablo 4: The Berserk crossover is already causing controversy, it's prohibitive for players!

Blizzard has been teasing the Diablo 4 x Berserk crossover for several weeks, paying homage to Kentaro Miura's iconic work, and is now officially available. In other words, those who wish can now access a series of decorative items inspired by the manga universe, allowing them to shine as they deserve on the battlefields of Estuar. We were also able to speak with the Blizzard teams during an interview about this event. However, we should warn you right away: it comes at an exorbitant cost, and players are naturally already grumbling.

The Diablo 4 x Berserk crossover is expensive!

Indeed, while the publisher has never hidden the fact that these would be premium items only accessible via the game's store, it has, however, been careful not to reveal the prices. And today, we understand better why! Because to the great astonishment of players, it appears that the complete set requires paying the modest sum of... €149.99. Yes, you read that right! Knowing that there are no discounted bundle offers, even if you buy several bundles at once.

But how can such a price be explained? Quite simply by the fact that of the six Berserk sets available, five of them are offered at the price of 2,800 platinum coins (the game's currency), compared to 2,500 for the last one. This makes a total of 16,500 coins to pay, knowing that the only pack allowing you to obtain such an amount is the one at 18,500 coins, which therefore costs €149.99. Suffice to say, this is bound to raise some eyebrows among Diablo 4 players, especially those who detract from microtransactions.

A limited-time offer

That being said, it's always worth remembering: these are purely cosmetic purchases, and are therefore purely optional. What's more, it's obviously not mandatory to get the full set, which is composed of all the following elements that can be purchased individually:

  • The Barbarians' Berserker armor (2,800 platinum, €24.99)
  • The Thieves' Lighthawk armor (2,800 platinum, €24.99)
  • The Thieves' Fighter armor (2,800 platinum, €24.99)
  • The Necromancers' Skeleton Knight armor (2,800 platinum, €24.99)
  • The Facon's Destrier mount and its armor (2,800 platinum, €24.99)
  • The Schnoz pet (2,500 platinum, €24.99)

So, it's up to you whether or not you want to buy one of these items. If you do, don't think too long, because they won't last forever. Blizzard has confirmed that they will only be available for purchase until June 3, the date on which the Diablo 4 x Berserk crossover will end.
