If you're a fan of the Star Wars universe, then you'll have to go to Disneyland Paris because the Parisian theme park will be offering a unique experience in Discoveryland: a pop-up bar where you can drink refreshing drinks and meet droids and characters from the intergalactic saga.
The Lightspeed Lounge, a unique Star Wars experience at Disneyland Paris
If there's one place to go as a fan of the Star Wars saga, it's Disneyland Paris starting May 31. Indeed, the amusement park located in Marne-la-Vallée will offer visitors a unique and immersive experience in the universe created by George Lucas. A pop-up bar, the Lightspeed Lounge, will welcome guests to Discoveryland, on the roof of Starport located just below the enormous X-Wing.
This unique experience was developed by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and sponsored by Coca-Cola. The bar will offer around fifty seats where you can relax with a drink or a snack inspired by Star Wars while admiring a breathtaking view of the park's futuristic land. Disneyland Paris presents this terrace bar that combines "metal structures and graceful lines, enhanced with neon lights and music transporting guests to another galaxy" and which is inspired by the spaceport from Star Tours: The Adventure Continues.
A total immersion in Star Wars between two attractions
The little BD-X droids, Red, Orange and Green, who arrived in the park on May 4, will continue to be present at Disneyland Paris since you can meet them in this pop-up Star Wars bar.
You will also be able to meet Stormtroopers. Finally, when you go to order at the bar, you might encounter a familiar little droid waiting for reprogramming at the factory...
With the upcoming opening of the Lightspeed Lounge, Disneyland Paris is demonstrating its commitment to offering its visitors seasonal experiences, similar to events such as Star Wars: Season of the Force and Legends of the Force - A Star Wars Celebration, which were successful.
So if you want to try this experience, which is sure to delight all Star Wars fans, you can do so between two attractions. The Lightspeed Lounge will be open until September 17, 2025 and will welcome guests from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m..
